What is one piece of advice you'd give someone who feels like creating a yummy and healthy meal is too DIFFICULT?

Just go for it. Every story has a beginning! Eating yummy, healthy food is super fun and I promise, it’s not hard at all! All of my recipes are easy to make if you’re the beginner at cooking - you can totally do it! Make a commitment and stick to it. My recipes don’t always turn out on the first try. The more you cook the better you get in the kitchen!

Describe your cooking style in 5 words!

Easy. Nourishing. Tasty. Healthy. Vibrant. Fun! (an extra for good luck)

What are some of your guilty pleasures?

Chocolate, Gummy Bears, Baked Goods… I gotta stop somewhere (lol). Sweets are an important part of my diet and I have one probably everyday!

What wellness product(s) could you never live without?

Matcha Latte & CBD Gels or Drops. Period.

I can’t sleep without ear plugs.
I got my drivers license at the age of 31.
I worked in accounting for 4 years before Healthy Mood SF.
I play piano.

What is your favorite recipe you've created so far?

WhaT IS ONE THING YOU’VE LEARNED OVER THE YEARS AS A RECIPE CREATOR AND “INFLUENCER”?

Keep trying and don’t give up. I’ve tried so many recipes and sometimes they turn out great and sometimes they don’t. Sometimes B loves it but my kids don’t. Sometimes I forget the baking sheet and it’s a disaster. All these things are okay. Don’t be hard on yourself! It’s a process!

What kind of exercise do you do?

I’m a huge fan of Barry’s Bootcamp! It challenges me both physically and mentally, every session. I’ve never felt so disciplined, motivated, and healthy. Training at Barry’s changed my life - I’m stronger, more confident, and most importantly I’ve met some truly amazing friends that inspire me. Prior to the pandemic, I’d take 3-4 classes a week! When the shelter in place order happened, I started taking Barry’s online classes and when they opened their locations for outdoor classes - I was right back to it! :)

Where is your favorite place you've traveled and why?

My favorite place I’ve travelled (so far) is Rome. I went there with Brandon in October of 2019 and I fell in love with that city. The atmosphere, the historical buildings and monuments, the romantic atmosphere and the most amazing food. Click below for my Paris Food Guide!

What does the city of San FranCisco mean to you?

SF has a very special place in my heart. I moved here at the age of 18, had my babies here, got married, met all of my best friends and started my business all in this 50 square mile city. So much love for this city and every experience it’s given me!

Where do you shop for your ingredients?

I mainly shop at Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and Costco.
