CHURRO FRENCH TOAST

Ingredients:
For the toast you’ll need:
3 slices sourdough bread
1 egg
1/4 c almond milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp maple syrup
1 scoop collagen

For the cinnamon sugar:
2 tbsp coconut sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

 

Directions:
1. Whisk together the eggs, almond milk, vanilla, maple syrup & collagen.

2. Soak your bread in the the egg mixture for 1 minutes, flip once. 

3. Heat 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a large pan or griddle over medium heat.

4. Add the soaked bread and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until well browned.


5. Remove French toast from the pan and immediately dip in the cinnamon sugar, turning to coat completely.

6. Topped with bananas, peanut butter and a drizzle of maple butter.
