PARMESAN EGG-IN-A-HOLE TOAST
Directions:
1. Use a small cup to cut a hole in the middle of bread.
2. Heat a skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
3. Add 1 tsp butter.
4. When butter stops foaming, place bread in a pan and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook 2 minutes or until golden brown.
5. Add the remaining butter, flip the bread and gently add egg into hole. Cover with lid and cook for about 2 minutes over low heat adding Parmesan cheese halfway though.
6. Remove from the pan and sprinkle the toast with, salt, black pepper and red pepper flakes.
&. Don’t forget to use the scooped-out center of the bread for your mini jam toasts!

1 slice sourdough bread
1 egg
1 tbsp parmesan cheese
2 tsp butter
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
dash black pepper
salt to taste
